King David was anointed king, but he had to battle a long time before he realized the full authority of the position.  And if you think about the stories of his mighty men and armies, they are replete with perseverance against great odds, and the LORD gave them the victory. So often we Christians compromise the beautiful teachings of the Bible to justify our actions or the actions of others.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Those of us who have decided to be steadfast in our minds to endure to the end, can read postings like this and truly be encouraged.  God has called His children to righteousness, not what feels good or to a lifestyle that is enjoyed by the majority.
